The Vaux's Swift is a rare spring and fall migrant on campus in April-May and September. It is a common migrant throughout southern California.
High Count: 9, Average Count: 2-3
The Vaux's Swift is entirely sooty brown with a pale throat. This tiny aerialist flies with rapid wing beats, appearing to teeter quickly from side to side.
