The White-winged Dove is a casual visitor to campus: one was seen 18 May 2008. It is a common breeding bird in the low deserts of southern California, especially around the Colorado River and Salton Sea.
The White-winged Dove is pale brown overall with a distinct, broad white wing stripe and tail tip.
