We Invite You to "Take a Seat"

Take a Seat

We are thrilled to extend a personal invitation for you to be part of a truly historic moment at California State University, San Bernardino. With the construction of our new Performing Arts Center underway, you have a unique chance to contribute to a project that will profoundly impact the future of our campus and the arts community.

This 478-seat theater represents the most visible aspect of our new vibrant epicenter for performing arts on campus. Your investment will help to cultivate a thriving cultural community, fostering creativity and enriching the lives of students and audiences for generations to come.

All funds raised will be used to provide special programming in the new theater during the Year of the Arts, which will begin in the fall of 2025.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I choose my seat?

While you can choose a section, it is not possible to select a specific seat location. When purchasing multiple seats, we will do our best to make sure the seats are as close together as possible, but we cannot guarantee they will be side by side.

Will the seat I sponsor become my seat for the performances?

No. Your sponsorship of the plaque does not guarantee that you can sit in your seat when attending a show. We plan to have special donor recognition events where the opportunity will be available to sit in your seat. The best way to guarantee being able to sit in your seat for every performance is to buy season tickets.

Is my gift tax-deductible, and what is the University's tax ID number?

CSUSB is a 501(c)(3) organization. Gifts in support of the University’s mission, goals and programs are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and non-refundable. Please consult with your tax attorney or financial advisor to determine if your gift is tax-deductible. The University’s Tax ID number is 45-2255077
